WINDOWS VISTA
Microsoft is scheduled to release their latest operating system in the beginning of January. 
We have begun testing NPL on Vista. Preliminary testing has produced some problems that we need to address. The first and most significant problem is when NPL is installed on Vista using NPLSecure, launching NPL produces DCOM error messages. This may be just a configuration issue or it may be more serious. We are analyzing the problem. 
The second issue discovered is character box graphics do not display properly. Specifically the lower left corner of a character box displays a character rather than the lower left corner of a box. The lower right corner of a character box is shifted slightly to the left and the vertical line does not line up with the line on the side of the box. True box graphics display properly. 
Niakwa will issue an online new brief when NPL has been fully tested on Windows Vista

NPL CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY SCHEDULE
Niakwa's administrative offices will be closed on Monday December 25, 26, and 27 in celebration of Christmas Day. We will be open from 11 AM CST to 4 PM CST on Thursday December 28 and Friday December 29 to handle any last minute orders. 
We will be closed again on Monday January 1 and 2 in celebration of the New Year. Regular business hours will resume on Wednesday January 3rd. 
Resets will be available Wednesday thru Friday on a limited basis via email only. Response times will be slow.
